There are some pieces of news you want to share slowly, savoring every word, because they don't come along every day. This is one of them: Quinta Tech won the Mexican edition of the 2026 KPMG Private Enterprise Global Tech Innovator competition.<\/strong>, and with that victory, it also earned a spot in the global final in Lisbon, Portugal, this November, where it will represent Mexico against startups from nearly 16 countries.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you know us, you know that at Quinta we have long insisted on something that sounds almost provocative: that tires matter. That the piece of rubber we all take for granted\u2014the one rolling along silently, literally supporting every journey\u2014deserves technology, data, and attention. Miguel Guti\u00e9rrez Elizondo, our founder and CEO, put it with our characteristic simplicity: \u201cWe are in a very unsexy industry\u2014tires\u2014but they are incredibly important. We don\u2019t aim to reinvent the wheel, but rather to make it smart.\u201d<\/em> And today, that stubborn dream has gained national recognition that fills us with pride.

What KPMG acknowledged<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The competition, which held its sixth consecutive edition in Mexico this year, evaluated participants based on innovation and disruption, market potential, customer adoption, commercial traction, scalability, and presentation quality. Our sensor technology\u2014featuring Bluetooth connectivity and AI integration and capable of monitoring over 30 variables (such as wear, pressure, temperature, and load) in real time\u2014convinced the jury that tire telemetry is not merely a niche curiosity, but a cornerstone of transport efficiency and safety in Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The numbers speak for themselves, but we like to share them because behind each one there is a client who has trusted us since we launched in January of this year: 42% longer tire life, 55% fewer punctures and blowouts, up to 10% fuel savings, and an average monthly savings of 6,200 pesos per unit. Figures that are already being experienced in fleets in Mexico and the United States, and that now have the support of one of the most respected innovation competitions in the country.

This is no coincidence.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

And we want to be very clear about something, because we feel it is important to say it out loud: none of this happened overnight. Yes, our flagship product has been on the market for less than a year. But behind that year lie more than five years of technological trial and error\u2014involving sensors that didn\u2019t work, prototypes that fell by the wayside, and lessons learned through our own mistakes\u2014as well as over a decade of accumulated industry knowledge, truly understanding the challenges of the tire sector before attempting to solve them. What KPMG is celebrating today is neither a stroke of luck nor an idea born by accident. It is passion, knowledge, and a driving desire to change the world\u2014even if it\u2019s just one tire at a time.

And now, the atmosphere at the Quinta offices is a blend that is rarely easy to describe precisely: gratitude, adrenaline, and a tremendous drive to keep going. In November, we will travel to Lisbon to represent Mexico in the global final of the KPMG Global Tech Innovator competition, facing off against startups from around the world. We aren\u2019t setting out to prove that tires can be smart\u2014we already demonstrated that on the road, kilometer by kilometer.
